EIDU creates apps which are directed at children under the age of 13. Our apps are child-safe. The privacy, the safety, and the trust of our users are the basis of all our activities, and we value them highly.
We do not collect data which may directly and individually identify children. We collect data about children's use of the learning environment. We store adults' contact information in order to keep in touch with them.
Our apps allow to take pictures which are stored on the device only.
We do not share personal information with third parties. We use data exclusively to improve our apps and services.
Our apps do not show to children any ads or any content which is unrelated to the learning objectives of the apps. Children cannot access external links.
We collect information directly from users of our apps and website in the form of the actions they take and activities they complete when using the services.
From child users, we collect:
From adult users, we optionally collect:
Some of our apps can be used by multiple children on a single device. Parents or teachers can set up accounts for them, and add names and pictures so that children may select their own account. Names and pictures are sensitive data, and therefore are only stored locally on the devices.
So when child usage data is collected, child names are removed before the transfer. A link to the device owner’s account is added, so that we can contact parents or teachers about specific phenomena in the data.
